Investor Exposure
Marketing isn't Limited to your Products or Services
Our clients benefit from our relationships and extensive database of investors, institutions and private equity firms. IRTH goes to work immediately to increase the depth of your market and broaden exposure for our client companies.
Targeted Investor Outreach Meetings
Face-to-face meetings with investors and analysts are critical to creating new support for the stock and firming up relationships with existing stakeholders. At the outset of our engagement we would identify our top 'targets', which will include buy side and sell side firms.
IRTH suggests that management dedicate time to meetings with investors that have an interest in the company and have been properly qualified. We will identify top target cities from our lists of contacts that include: New York, Boston, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco. We will take the lead in arranging investor meetings, handling logistics and providing client management with background information on the firms they will be meeting.
Our buy side targets will include those investors and institutions looking for opportunities in the "Green" space and also generalists. We look to introduce money managers who invest in the client's space as well as brokers and accredited investor networks. If the situation is a micro-cap or small cap company we will target smaller money managers, brokers and investors who invest in small cap stocks and small cap institutional investors. We will dedicate time each month to reaching out to our target investors and analysts to keep a pulse on the investor's position with our client companies.
Investor Road Shows/Targeted Conferences
Road Shows and investor conferences are an excellent method for reaching a solid audience of targeted interested parties that are active stock market participants and investment professionals. Company specific presentations and multi-company events are effective. Important factors for success include pre-event preparation, the ability to effectively draw active attendance from qualified parties and the post presentation follow up. Development of one-on-one meetings dramatically increases results in this area. We typically suggest a minimum of one event per quarter for maintenance and multi-site schedule around critical events.
We assist our clients in many ways to assure the success and efficiency of conference and road show exposure. By identifying targeted conferences and audiences for attendance that will reach a 'reactive' base, we avoid our clients the expense of the conference learning curve. Additionally, IRTH has relationship with existing market participants and will develop interest from institutional investors, bankers and brokers to see that your presentation meets the audience you seek. The diligent preparation of client investor presentations and materials helps to draw immediate interest in our clients and can give the audience concise and innovative take-away.
Telemarketing Exposure Programs
The benefit of a phone call and follow-up from a knowledgeable individual can be one of the most effective ways to build strong and lasting exposure from new and existing shareholders. We work directly to increase exposure of our clients companies through telemarketing campaigns. We can target existing shareholders to assess and shore up interest, and develop new interest from the ensuing viral word-of-mouth effect that results from a proud, knowledgeable and supportive shareholder base.
We can also increase exposure through outreach to an investment professionals database calling program. We have an active database of several hundred stockbrokers and an institutional data base that represents thousands of active professional investors. Through an affiliate program we can direst exposure for client companies towards tens of thousands of stockbrokers and investment professionals.
New Media
New Media is a term meant to encompass the emergence of digital, computerized, or networked information and communication technologies. Many people see new media as an element conducive to rapid social change in the world today. In the investing world this is a fact.
According to a report by Market Research.com, as of January 2003, there was an estimated 33 million U.S. consumer online trading accounts that control roughly $1.6 trillion in customer assets. A Cogent Research survey in April 2008 found that 25% of adults online in the U.S. are engaged in social media specifically related to personal finance and investing. Almost two-thirds of high-net worth investors claimed online peer-generated content about personal investing and finance has influence on their financial purchasing behaviors and decisions.
IRTH Communications addresses the institutional buyer and engages this large base of online investors for their clients. To reach this investor base our clients should explore the new media outlets that are available to deliver the investor message to this powerful group of active and informed investors. We help our clients develop effective methods that include: Email, Web, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Network Marketing, Blog Exposure, and other digital exposure methods. We maintain tabs on which media and vendors are effective in this fast moving space.
